Taylor Swift Talks VMA Performance: "You Get Really Nervous"

With the MTV Video Music Awards quickly approaching, Taylor Swift is gearing up for her performance.

On Saturday (September 1), the 22-year-old tweeted, “VMA rehearsals every day this week, starting today!"

Along with rehearsals, she also caught up with the award show host and talked about what it takes to give an all-star performance and Miss Swift explained, "You get really nervous.”

Taylor added, “"It's a mixture of all these emotions of excitement of nerves of planning, of making sure that you have enough rehearsal time, know all your blocking ... 'cause the thing about the VMAs is, the people that help put together the performances are honestly some of the best people you have ever worked with and they put together these huge, vast, massively entertaining performances and you have to make sure that you are ready to go onstage and face the entire world of music fans that are watching that show."
