Taking a break from her busy filming schedule, Mindy Kaling headed to the "Today Show" for an interview with Al Roker this morning (September 18).
The creator and star of "The Mindy Project" sported a short red and black dress with black heels and a large black handbag as she made her way in the rain.
When asked how the show will connect with women, the 33-year-old "The Office" actress answered, "The character's really relatable. She has a lot of flaws. She drinks a little bit too much, she doesn't date as much as she wants to, she like works a little bit too much. Chris Messina's in it. He's super hot. I think women will like that."
"The Mindy Project" premieres September 25th at 9:30 Eastern on Fox while "The Office" begins September 20th at 9:00 Eastern on NBC.
