Which TV Stars Might Not See Another Season?
ABC's Private Practice is about to lose one of its angst-ridden physicians -- possibly to jail. The office's alternative medicine specialist, Dr. Pete Wilder (Tim Daly), was last seen under indictment for murder after the mercy killing of one of his patients. And according to a recent tweet from Daly, we won't be seeing his character in season 6.

Ke$ha Drops Lil Wayne, T.I., Wiz Khalifa 'Sleazy' Remix
Remix also features Andre 3000 and is a bit racier than the original track.
By Jocelyn Vena
<P>As promised, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/kesha_/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a> and her boys Lil Wayne, T.I., Wiz Khalifa and Andre 3000 dropped a new <a href="/news/articles/1672529/lil-wayne-kesha-ti-wiz-khalifa-remix.jhtml">remix of "Sleazy"</a> on Tuesday (December 13).</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="MTV News Extended Play: Ke$ha" id="id:1661961" width="240" height="211"></div><p></P><P>The Bangladesh-produced song originally appeared on K-Dollar's 2010 <a href="/news/articles/1651081/keha-gets-sleazy-on-new-cannibal-track.jhtml"><i>Cannibal</i> album</a> before a <a href="/news/articles/1656039/andre-3000-pops-up-on-kehas-sleazy-remix.jhtml">remix featuring Andre</a> popped up earlier this year. The latest version of the song is available for purchase and is all over blogs like <a href="http://www.rap-up.com/2011/12/12/new-music-kesha-f-wiz-khalifa-andre-3000-ti-lil-wayne-sleazy-remix/" target="_blank">Rap-Up.com</a>. The song gets a bit dirtier and introspective thanks to verses from the guys that play up the track's bumping beat.</P><P>Wiz kicks it off, rapping about designer clothes and his lady love, Amber Rose. "OK, I'm young and I'm tatted/ I get them bucks like an addict/ Rocking this Christian Dior/ I spend so much on my fabric/ I got a wifey at home/ And what she wants she can have it," he spits before going on about chilling on the beach, being rich and his prowess in the bedroom.</P><P>Sitting in between Wiz and Tip is Andre's recycled verse, before T.I. gets his shot and gets sexy, asking Ke$ha, "Do you know what to do with me?" before he launches into a verse all about how good he is to the ladies. "Bad bitches know me/ So don't bother introducing me/ They want me more than diamonds," he brags before explaining that it has a lot to do with his impressive anatomy.</P><P>Wayne closes it out, adding his own signature flair. "We be on that sh-- that no one be on/ That's what we on/ Smoke that neon, Kings of Leon/ Dynamite, Napoleon/ Got some skinnies and a tee on/ And some Vans," he rhymes about his famous sense of Weezy-fied style before the song circles back to the funky chorus, where Ke$ha declares that she doesn't "need you or your brand-new Benz/ Or your bougie friends/ I don't need love lookin' like diamonds/ Lookin' like diamonds."</P><P>If any of K's fans or critics were wondering if she has the swagger to chill with the guys, she displayed some of her sass when she <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/KESHASUXX" target="_blank">tweeted</a> about the remix. "Question ANIMALS ... who can say they got with Lil Wayne, T.I., Andre 3000 and Wiz Khalifa on a f---ing hot track??" she asked. "ill give u one clue ... Its $."</P><P><i>What do you think of the "Sleazy" remix? Tell us in the comments!</i></p>

Adam Sandler's 'That's My Boy' A 'Dream Come True' For Cast
Andy Samberg, Ciara and crew weigh in on teaming up for a Sandler comedy, during Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week.

Whether he's going back to school, tapping in golf balls or hanging out with his fellow grown-ups, Adam Sandler knows how to bring the laughs. He's especially hilarious when he's allowed to deliver his fair share of F-bombs, which he does rather liberally in "That's My Boy," his new comedy about a disgraced father — that's Sandler — trying to reconnect with his son, played by "Saturday Night Live" comedian Andy Samberg.
It's a ridiculous premise, sure; Sandler's only 12 years older than Samberg, after all. But that doesn't make working on "That's My Boy" anything less of a dream come true for Samberg. As part of our Sneak Peek Week leading up to the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (June 3), Samberg and his "That's My Boy" co-stars joined together onstage to praise the work of Sandler, one of the Lonely Island frontman's comedy heroes.
"It was awesome to work on this," he said. "It was a full-tilt dream come true for me to be asked to do it."
Co-star Will Forte agreed, saying, "It was such a wonderful set, because Adam, who's also one of my comedy heroes, tells you exactly what he wants, then he lets you discover stuff on your own too. He points you in the right direction. He's so amazing to work with."
Amazing, yes, but vulgar too. Make no mistake: "That's My Boy" is a hard R packed to the gills with beer, bongs, boobs and bad language. "It is a dirty movie. It's a raunchy movie," Forte said. "If you've seen previews for the movie, then you have no idea what it's about, because they need to take five seconds here and five seconds there. ... It's a dirty movie."
It's not just comedy veterans like Sandler, Samberg and Forte who get dirty in "That's My Boy" either. Even Grammy-nominated singer Ciara was allowed to get in on the fun, and she said she's walking away from the Sandler experience with a desire to pursue further acting adventures.
"It was so much fun. This crew is so hilarious," she said. "From this experience, I want to do so much more. I'm determined to do more."
As for what Samberg took away from working with Ciara? "She taught me so many dance moves," he quipped.
Head over to MovieAwards.MTV.com to vote for your favorite flicks now! The 21st annual MTV Movie Awards air live Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET.

Britney Spears Joins 'X Factor' As A Judge
Pop star will earn a reported $15 million for one season.
By Katie Byrne
<P>Move over, Christina! Now that "The Voice" has wrapped, it's time for another Mouseketeer-turned-diva to judge future music stars: Britney Spears has reportedly signed a deal to be a judge on "The X Factor," according to <a href="http://www.eonline.com/news/its_official_britney_spears_signs_x/312961" target="_blank">E! News</a>.</P><P>News first broke in early March that the pop star was in negotiations to join the panel of Fox's reality singing competition, and last month, it was reported that Spears was being offered $15 million for one season of the show — $3 million more than Jennifer Lopez earns as a judge on "American Idol."</P><P>"The contract is signed," a source told E! "There's been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she's on. It's all completed and Britney is beyond excited."</P><P>In an April interview with <a href="http://www.tmz.com/2012/04/17/simon-cowell-britney-spears-x-factor-tmz-live/" target="_blank">TMZ</a>, Cowell remained mum about the Spears negotiation rumors but admitted that he would "love" to have her on "X Factor."</P><P>"I think it would be a coup," he said. "I think she would be a fascinating person to sit next to, so we'll have to wait and see."</P><P>Spears will join returning mentors Cowell and record executive L.A. Reid on the panel.</P><P>Several stars — from <a href="/news/articles/1684320/x-factor-judges-miley-cyrus-britney-spears.jhtml">Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato</a> to Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey — were reportedly discussed as possible <a href="/news/articles/1678191/paula-abdul-exits-x-factor.jhtml">replacements for Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul</a> before Spears became the front-runner. There's no word yet on whether one of those rumored contenders (or anyone, for that matter) will join the show as a fourth judge.</P><P>"The X Factor" returns to Fox in September, with auditions already under way.</P><P><i>Are you excited for Britney to join "The X Factor"? Let us know in the comments!</i></P><P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/photos/?fid=1617615"><img src="http://www.mtv.com/news/photos/s/spotted/banner/spotted.jpg"></a></p>

Adam shared, “It feels great. I worked really hard. I worked for a year-and-a-half on this album. And we kind of kept pushing it. I was like, ‘Um, I don’t know if I’m ready yet.’”

One Direction Keep Fans Screaming All Night On Tour
U.K. pop sensations hit New Jersey's IZOD Center for a sell-out show on Friday packed with hits and rocking covers.

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey — Maybe you've heard their songs on the radio or caught their TV performances on the "Today" show or "Saturday Night Live," but nothing quite captures the success of One Direction like the screams.
On Friday night, thousands of fans from across the Tri-State area hit the IZOD Center, filling the 19,000-capacity arena for the latest stop on the U.K. pop sensation's headlining, Stateside tour. They were there to experience a new wave of a British Invasion, and they weren't disappointed.
Even before the show started, there was an excitement and energy in the air as Directioners — young and old alike — rushed into the building wearing homemade T-shirts, carrying posters and sporting body paint declaring their love for their favorite 1D members, be it Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson or Harry Styles.
After two opening acts and a few warm-up songs, including Busta Rhymes and Run-DMC classics, One Direction finally hit the stage as the crowd jumped to its feet. Opening with " Na Na Na," the boys — dressed in the matching theme of red, white and blue, but each with their own signature touch — hit the harmonies hard. The concert followed a seasonal theme with corresponding video and costumes to match. A few songs in, Harry told the sell-out crowd, "I think this is our "biggest show" as a band!" which sent fans screaming all over again.
Veering from their chart-topping debut album, Up All Night, each 1D member took a shot at a solo cover of some of their favorite songs, including the Black Eyed Peas' "I Got a Feeling" and the Gym Class Heroes hit "Stereo Hearts." The boys then sat on stools as they serenaded fans with "Moments." Cell phone lights took the place of lighters as the audience sang every word of the ballad.
After a quick change into the next outfit (and the next season), 1D proceeded with some of their more popular hits, including "More Than This" and the album's title track, "Up All Night." The set soon moved onto the live-tweeting portion of the show, where fans tweeted questions from the audience to their favorite bandmember. Then Liam showed off some beat-boxing skills and Harry attempted to do the worm before the guys were back at it with another cover, this time the hit Kings of Leon song "Use Somebody."
To end the night, 1D gave a shout-out to their impressive backing band and closed with singles "One Thing" and, of course, their #1 hit "What Makes You Beautiful." But a perfect evening of hearty pop wouldn't be complete without an encore! So the boys returned to perform "I Want" to the delight of their devoted fans.
If you missed the 1D performance on Friday, fear not Directioners, a full list of U.S. tour dates is available on their official website.
Full Set List:
1. "Na Na Na"
2. "Stand Up"
3. "I Wish"
4. "I Got a Feeling"; "Stereo Hearts"; "Valerie"; "Torn"
5. "Moments"
6. "Gotta Be You"
7. "More Than This"
8. "Up All night"
9. "Tell Me a Lie"
10. "Everything About You"
11. "Use Somebody"
12. "One Thing"
13. "Save You Tonight"
14. "What Makes You Beautiful"
15: "I Want" (Encore)

Lady Gaga's Born This Way Ball Kicks Off Amid Protests
Seoul, South Korea, set list heavy on new material, but Gaga's biggest hits come out to play.
By John Mitchell
<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a> kicked off her hotly awaited <i>Born This Way</i> Ball at Seoul, South Korea's Olympic Stadium on Friday (April 27) in front of 45,000 fans, and despite <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-17867102" target="_blank">protests</a> from Christian groups saying Mother Monster was "obscene" and could "taint" young people with her performance, the concert appears to have gone on without incident.</P><P>Intrepid Twitter fans are already showing off pictures and video of the <i>BTW</i> Ball's enormous Gothic castle backdrop and myriad costume changes, making it clear that Gaga has outdone even her own Monster Ball in terms of spectacle.</P><P>While we wait for reviews to trickle in from halfway around the world, one thing is certain: No minors were corrupted at the show. Earlier this month, the Korea Media Rating Board decided to <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2012/04/02/lady-gaga-unfazed-by-south-korean-concert-age-restrictions/">elevate the age rating</a> for the concert from 12 to 18, prohibiting minors from seeing the concert. When the board notified Gaga's tour promotion company and a sponsor of the change in age restrictions, it did not offer a reason why the show — which at the time was still in rehearsals and had not been reviewed publicly — was considered unsuitable for children under 18.</P><P><CENTER><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:717952/cp~vid%3D717952%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A717952" width="430" height="242" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></CENTER></P><P>The likely catalyst for the board's decision came more into focus as the concert neared and protests from a group of conservative Christians calling itself the Alliance for Sound Culture in Sexuality ramped up. The group <a href="http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-31749_162-57419977-10391698/lady-gagas-born-this-way-ball-met-by-protests-in-south-korea/" target="_blank">covered Seoul with posters</a> accusing Gaga of "spreading unhealthy sexual culture" through "lewd lyrics and performances."</P><P>The superstar and her fans, however, were undeterred. Though she <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/ladygaga/status/186886867118080000" target="_blank">tweeted</a> her hopes that the Korea Media Rating Board would reverse its decision (it didn't), she continued on as planned. Many fans reportedly arrived at the show wearing versions of Gaga's most well-known flamboyant costumes, and there have been no reports of disturbances at the concert.</P><P>Before the show, Gaga <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/ladygaga/status/195815732494348288" target="_blank">tweeted</a>, "I can you hear you Korea. I'm shaking."</P><P>Gaga's performance was heavy on material from her <i>Born this Way</i> album, though her biggest hits, including "Bad Romance," Poker Face" and "Just Dance," were represented.</P><P>Lady Gaga's <i>Born This Way</i> Ball set list:</P><P><b>»</b> "Highway Unicorn" <br> <b>»</b> "Government Hooker"<br> <b>»</b> "Born This Way"<br> <b>»</b> "Bloody Mary"<br> <b>»</b> "Bad Romance"<br> <b>»</b> "Fashion of His Love"<br> <b>»</b> "The Queen"<br> <b>»</b> "Just Dance"<br> <b>»</b> "Love Game"<br> <b>»</b> "Telephone"<br> <b>»</b> "Just Dance"<br> <b>»</b> "Heavy Metal Lover"<br> <b>»</b> "Bad Kids"<br> <b>»</b> "Hair"<br> <b>»</b> "Yoü and I"<br> <b>»</b> "Electric Chapel"<br> <b>»</b> "Americano"<br> <b>»</b> "Poker Face"<br> <b>»</b> "Scheiße"<br> <b>»</b> "The Edge of Glory"<br> <b>»</b> "Marry the Night"</P><P><i>Did you see Lady Gaga's </i>Born This Way<i> Ball? Lady Gaga Taps The Darkness To Open Born This Way Ball
Re-formed British rock band 'honoured' to serve as openers on European leg of Gaga's tour, which kicks off August 14 in Bulgaria.

<P>Perhaps looking for some <i>actual</i> Heavy Metal Lovers, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a> has tapped reunited British rockers <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/darkness/artist.jhtml">the Darkness</a> as the opening act on the first — though we're willing to bet not <i>last</i> — leg of her <i>Born This Way</i> Ball, which kicks off August 14 in Sofia, Bulgaria.</P><P><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:717952/cp~vid%3D717952%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A717952" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></P><P>The Darkness confirmed the news Tuesday morning (April 10) on their official site (which, in a <i>very</i> Darkness move, is called <a href="http://www.theactualdarkness.com/home/" target="_blank">TheActualDarkness.com</a>), writing that they were "honoured [British spelling, extra classy] to announce their addition to the bill as main support for Lady Gaga's <i>Born This Way</i> Ball tour 2012."</P><P>The glammy, hammy rockers — best known for theatrical hits like "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" and "Growing on Me" — <a href="/news/articles/1484374/darkness-believe-thing-called-touring.jhtml">burned bright before imploding in 2006</a>, but announced a reunion (and plans for a new album) just last year. So, you know, it was basically a documentary.</P><P>It's not clear if the Darkness will serve as the opening act on <i>all</i> of Gaga's Euro dates (a spokesperson for the band did not respond to MTV News' request for comment by press time), but, thanks to the Mother Monster herself, we now know that there <i>are</i> European dates for the much-discussed <i>BTW</i> Ball.</P><P><a href="http://twitpic.com/97zvzf" target="_blank">Gaga unveiled the first 21 shows</a> early Tuesday morning on her Twitter account. Will Smith: I'm "Nervous" About My Daughter Dating
Will Smith and his wife Jada had the honor of having their 11-year old daughter, Willow, jet set across Europe with them as the Men In Black III star promoted his new movie. These trips may be few and far between as the tween grows up.
The Fresh Prince is not so keen on his baby girl growing up and entering the dating scene…he’s a little nervous, actually. He recently opened up to PEOPLE at the MIB III premiere in New York, "Having two boys and a girl, I realize that boys take trouble to other people's houses, and girls bring it home." He added, "So, the thing we are struggling with is the rules, and setting fair rules for the boys and for Willow, but she's not having any of that."

Robert Pattinson's 'Cosmopolis': The Cannes Reviews Are In!
Critics are split on whether the 'Twilight' actor was the right casting choice.
By Fallon Prinzivalli
Robert Pattinson at Cannes Film Fest
Photo: AFP
After supporting his girlfriend Kristen Stewart as she debuted "On the Road," Robert Pattinson hit the Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 25) to premiere his film "Cosmopolis." Directed by David Cronenberg, the film follows Eric Packer (Pattinson) in the not-too-distant future as he's chauffeured through Manhattan on his way to get a haircut. His entire world is falling apart — his marriage is failing, his financial status is slipping and even his very life is being threatened.
As reviews of the film pour in, it's apparent that critics agree the film has its odd moments, but they're split on whether Pattinson is the perfect choice for the lead role. Here's what the critics had to say about "Cosmopolis."
The Story
" 'Cosmopolis,' an adaptation of Don DeLillo's typically provocative novel of the same name, is the first feature film since 1999's 'eXistenZ' that filmmaker David Cronenberg has directed and scripted. This in part explains why 'Cosmopolis' is such a triumph: it's both an exceptional adaptation and a remarkable work unto itself.
Cronenberg makes slight but salient changes to DeLillo's source narrative. These changes, which are best described by one character as 'slight variation[s],' prove that Cronenberg's given serious consideration to what should and shouldn't be represented in his adaptation of the author's ruminative, conversation-driven narrative. For example, in Cronenberg's film, Eric Packer (a surprisingly adequate Robert Pattinson), an ambivalent and self-destructive power broker, does not get to have sex with his wife like he's wanted to do throughout DeLillo's book. Other changes, like the fact that Packer is investing and studying the steady rise in the Chinese yuan in the film and not the Japanese yen, as in the book, are equally striking. These differences noticeably enrich DeLillo's original story, making Cronenberg's 'Cosmopolis' that much more rewarding in its own dizzying way." — Simon Abrams, Indiewire
Robert Pattinson
"On the page and on film, Eric is a controlled and controlling figure, a man impervious to society's norms who one must feel has a mind operating well beyond the capacities of mere mortals. He's utterly humorless and without detectable compassion or accessible humanity, which makes him less than companionable as a character. Pattinson doesn't help matters by revealing nothing behind the eyes and delivering nearly all his lines with the same rhythm and intonations, plus repetitive head nods in the bargain. It's a tough character that perhaps a young Jeremy Irons could have made riveting, but Pattinson is too bland and monotonous to hold the interest." — Todd McCarthy, The Hollywood Reporter
"After 'Water for Elephants' it remains to be seen whether Pattinson's teen following really is willing to follow him anywhere. But 'Cosmopolis' does prove that he has the chops, and he parlays his cult persona beautifully into the spoiled, demanding Packer, a man so controlling and ruthless that only he has the power to ruin himself. Lean and spiky — with his clean white shirt he resembles a groomed Sid Vicious — Pattinson nails a difficult part almost perfectly." — Damon Wise, Empire Online
The Details
"There are other cast members who do an excellent idea of wrapping their heads around DeLillo's big ideas and Cronenberg's indirect dialogue — Juliette Binoche and Samantha Morton, Mathieu Almaric and Paul Giamatti — and the music, by Metric, supplies the right kind of spiky, sensuous unease for a man driven across town and driven to self-destruction. The film's cynicism is both majestic and well-earned; at one point, Eric notes '... nobody hates the rich ... everybody thinks they're ten seconds away from being rich.' A chilly, crisp and crystal-shard sharp satire of our money-crazed world, 'Cosmopolis' takes us on a limo ride through the collapse of modern society: We're not behind the wheel for this ride, but rest assured, in the end, we're going to have to get out and pay for it." — James Rocchi, MSN.com
The Final Word
"[R]ather than a thriller, 'Cosmopolis' plays more like a wispy film of ideas, with conversations in the limo about society, wealth and humanity dominating most of the screen time. Almost all of these feel detached and meticulously unfocused. Characters toss around ideas or questions, which their conversation partner then promptly ignores or responds to with a non-sequitur. It's often reminiscent of work by playwright/screenwriter Harold Pinter, but never quite as fun, nor nearly as humorous as it should be. ... Cronenberg has still made an odd, uncompromising and occasionally brilliant film of his own, one which is well worth seeing if only for the deft way Cronenberg finds an emotional arc in such an inhuman world. Or else to see how perfectly Pattinson's performance suits the director." — Brian Clark, Twitch

'I just think it's fun and the action's great,' Louis Tomlinson tells MTV News on the red carpet.
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Wigler and Fallon Prinzivalli
NEW YORK — Armed with Nerf guns, the five guys of One Direction hit up the "Men in Black 3" premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre, ready to face any kind of challenges.
The fivesome, who kicked off their headlining U.S. tour on Tuesday night, took a break from the road to catch the film. They also chatted with MTV News on the red carpet about why they felt they needed a line of defense for the fete.
"We're safe [with them and we'll use them on] anyone who gets brave," Louis Tomlinson joked about their Nerf guns. But the fellas did have a real reason for wanting to catch the film: They are big fans of the "Men in Black" franchise and have been for quite some time.
"[They are] great films, aren't they?" Tomlinson added. "I just think it's fun and the action's great. We were young when the first came out, so we kind of grew up with them."
Once inside the theater, instead of having to fend off anyone who might have gotten in their way, they gave the guns away to a few young fans who ran up to them. While security did their best to keep fans away from the boy banders, one young girl managed to get to the floppy-haired Harry Styles. All five guys agreed to give the girl their autograph. Before the film started, they hung out in their seats, munching on popcorn while adoring fans and their moms checked the guys out.
Later on, at the after-party held on the USS Intrepid, fans followed the band as they made their way around the bash, including down several flights of stairs to the bathrooms. They didn't stop for anyone, but they smiled and waved occasionally.
The guys won't have too much time to hit up more movie premieres since they are back to playing Thursday night (May 24) in Virginia. One Direction will continue on their summer tour through July. Meanwhile, "Men in Black 3" opens Friday.
